ELECTRICAL LEAD ENGINEER

Job Title: Electrical Lead Engineer

Location: Kendal

Salary: £55,000 (OTE £65,000+)

Shift: Days (Mon-Fri)

Job Role of the Electrical Lead Engineer

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Electrical Lead to join a modern, high-tech manufacturing site. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation and equipment, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and future leadership opportunities.

You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical team carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The role is mostly desk-based with the requirements to be hands on around 30%.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Lead Engineer

  • Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast-paced industrial factory.
  • Previous experience managing/leading a maintenance team.
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Lead Engineer

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
  • Previous experience working in a food or FMCG environment.
