Job Description

We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our East Hyde Thames Water team based in East Hyde, Bedfordshire.

Location: East Hyde STW, Bedfordshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (07:30 to 17:30) - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity as a Site Engineer will see you planning, providing engineering guidance, and supervising production at our East Hyde STW project. You'll ensure compliance with project and company systems while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team where your development is valued.

What Will You Be Responsible For?

As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction outcomes. Your day to day will include:

  • Setting out works and providing dimensional control to ensure accurate construction within allowable tolerances
  • Interpreting drawings and specifications while maintaining quality standards across all project elements
  • Collaborating with the workforce to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed
  • Producing accurate as-built records and maintaining thorough site documentation
  • Building positive relationships across the team while contributing to project planning and coordination

What Are We Looking For?

This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:

  • You have relevant experience in civil engineering with setting out skills
  • You hold a degree/HNC in civil engineering or construction-related discipline
  • You're working towards professional membership (ICE/CIOB) and passionate about your development
  • You're comfortable using MS Office and AutoCAD in your daily work
  • You enjoy building relationships and collaborating with diverse teams to achieve shared goals
