Site Engineer - Dublin

Role Overview

The Site Engineer will support the Construction Management Team in the effective on-site delivery of building projects. This role involves overseeing setting out, quality control, coordination of site activities, and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out setting out, levelling, and quality control activities, including monitoring concrete quality through cube sampling, slump testing, and related procedures.
  • Inspect shuttering, reinforcement, and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours, and maintain accurate materials reconciliation records.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of site activities, including site diaries, quality documentation, and the uploading of relevant information to the Document Management System (DMS).
  • Supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors involved in various aspects of the construction process.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Company’s health & safety, environmental, quality, and operational policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • A relevant Engineering qualification with a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience working with a building contractor.
  • Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of surveying instruments and site equipment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Candidates demonstrating commitment and capability can expect strong opportunities for progression within a short timeframe.
