Site Engineer
Site Engineer Opportunity – Anglian Water Region
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for experienced Site Engineers to strengthen their Construction and Project Delivery teams.
These roles are based across the Anglian Water region.

Site Engineer Role
- Take ownership of day-to-day site engineering activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery
- Carry out site quality assurance duties, including:
- Surveying
- Setting out
- Inspections
- Approvals aligned with digital design models and modern project systems
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to:
- Identify issues
- Problem-solve
- Deliver innovative solutions throughout construction
- Support programme, quality, and budget requirements across your section of works
- Produce temporary works design briefs to a standard accepted by the Temporary Works Coordinator
- Generate, review, and submit red-line drawings for work packages and prepare a 3-month lookahead for your area
- Implement company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations, with particular focus on HSE legislation
- Lead and collaborate to plan works that minimise health and safety risks
- Maintain accurate and detailed site records and communicate any changes to site management
- Support the Site Manager in liaising with Engineering and Integration teams to:
- Resolve engineering conflicts
- Ensure works are delivered in line with specifications, digital models, and drawings
- Contribute to the development of Graduate and Apprentice Engineers, supporting future talent and developing your own leadership skills

Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications
- HND or HNC / Civil Engineering Technician Level 4 qualification
- Proficient in CAD and BIM
- Competent in using robotic total stations and GPS surveying equipment
- 3-day First Aid qualification, SSSTS, and a role-specific CSCS card

Desirable Experience
- Experience working within the water or utilities sector
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
