Site Engineer
Site / Section Engineers (Setting Out) – Oxfordshire (On-site)
Role Overview
We are urgently hiring Site / Section Engineers (Setting Out) for a high-profile aviation infrastructure project in Oxfordshire, offering an immediate start under a fast-track recruitment process. This role provides competitive pay on a Strictly Umbrella PAYE basis, with enhanced overtime and structured future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Working on a 12:day on / 2:day off roster, typically 12-hour shifts, your core duties include:
- Setting Out & Precision Engineering
- Executed detailed dimensional control and setting out for aviation infrastructure, heavy paving, and civils packages.
- Overtime & Shift Variance
- Standard workdays max 10 hours, but enhanced rates apply over this (1.2x for Saturdays, 1.4x for Sundays).
- Quality Assurance (QA) & Technical Compliance
- Managing ITPs, As-Built records, and daily reporting to uphold defence and design specifications.
- Workforce Coordination
- Supervising direct labor and specialist subcontractors on-site.

Essential Requirements
✅ Sector-Specific Experience Proven site experience in highways, heavy paving, or large-scale concrete construction.
✅ Security Clearance Ideal candidate: British National with (or able to obtain) BPSS clearance.
