Job Purpose
As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the site delivery team, ensuring works are set out accurately, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll monitor progress, test workmanship, and help drive continuous improvement so that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
• Build strong working relationships with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction.
• Check setting-out points, benchmarks, and equipment calibration to ensure compliance.
• Implement test and inspection plans (ITPs) and record workmanship and materials (e.g. drainage, concrete, piling, foundations).
• Support the team in planning, programming, and coordinating daily site operations.
• Contribute to achieving the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
• Ensure that works are properly resourced, supervised, and carried out in line with drawings and specifications.
• Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and drive continuous improvement in methods and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, survey data, and reports to support commercial and delivery teams.
Key Requirements (Essential)
• Proven experience in setting out civil engineering works and quality control

• Experience in quality control and creating/implementing ITPs.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering practices and construction standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Valid CSCS card
• Flexible and willing to travel across East Anglia.
Desirable:
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Flexible and willing to travel across England and Wales.
• Temporary Works awareness or coordinator experience.
• First Aid at Work • HSG47 (Cat & Genny) trained.
Qualifications
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent).
