Job Description We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our Severn Trent Contract based in Hatton. Location : Hatton Hours : 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. What will you be responsible for? As a Site Engineer you'll be working within the Severn Trent Framework, supporting the m in the operational delivery of essential water infrastructure projects. You'll provide technical and functional support across site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance are achieved throughout every stage of delivery. Your day to day will include: Carrying out setting out, surveying, and verification of works to ensure alignment with design drawings and specifications. Coordinating and plan site activities in line with project programmes, resolving technical issues promptly. Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built data, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material approvals. Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to support smooth, efficient delivery on site. Promoting and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards across all site operations. What are we looking for? Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Previous experience in a site-based engineering role within relevant industry . Proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment (e.g. total station, GPS). U nderstanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes. CSCS Card Full UK driving licence.
