At Gist, we're proud to be part of the M&S Group, the logistics engine behind M&S Food.

From our distribution centres to our transport operations and support functions, we connect people, technology and expertise to ensure the right products reach the right stores at the right time.

As we continue to invest in our people, technology and network, there's never been a more exciting time to join Gist and help shape the future of food logistics.

At Gist, we're launching one of our newest logistics operations in partnership with M&S, and we're looking for an organised, proactive Engineering Administrator to help establish and support our brand-new engineering function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a site from the very beginning, working alongside our engineering leadership team to ensure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. From coordinating maintenance records to supporting compliance and engineering planning, you'll play an essential role in keeping the operation organised and efficient.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

About The Role

As our Engineering Administrator, you'll provide administrative support to the Site Engineering Manager and wider engineering team, helping coordinate engineering activities, maintain accurate records and ensure key information is always up to date.

You'll become the central point of coordination for the engineering department, supporting maintenance planning, managing documentation and helping ensure the site remains compliant, organised and operational.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
