WPS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our growing planned maintenance team, delivering a Social Housing Decarbonisation (SHDF) scheme focused on roof replacement works.
Working closely with one of our key social housing partners, you will play a pivotal role in delivering energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage roof replacement programmes across occupied social housing properties Ensure works are delivered in line with SHDF requirements, programme targets, and quality standards Oversee operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring site performance and productivity Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times Manage short-term programming of works and sequencing of site activities Conduct pre- and post-inspections, ensuring works meet required standards Produce weekly progress reports and update stakeholders on delivery and risks Ensure timely completion of job packs and handovers to support commercial processes Build strong working relationships with clients, residents, and internal teams

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing planned maintenance Strong background delivering roofing programmes (ideally replacement works) Experience working on SHDF / decarbonisation / retrofit schemes (highly desirable) Knowledge of working in occupied properties and managing resident impact Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
Qualifications & Requirements
SMSTS or SSSTS (essential) CSCS Card (Supervisor or above) First Aid (preferred) Full UK Driving Licence
