About the Role
Bee Construction are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a live fitness facility in Birmingham.
This is a non-working Site Manager position, focusing on managing daily operations, subcontractor coordination and ensuring top-level health and safety standards throughout the project. This forms part of a nationwide refurbishment programme for one of the UK’s leading fitness operators. Exceptional candidates may be offered ongoing work.

- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trade suppliers
- Leading site briefings and client meetings daily
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) where required
- Monitoring programme and quality of works
- Acting as an intermediary between the Project Manager, Project Director and on-site trade teams
- Maintaining a clean, safe & well-organised site
- Reporting daily progress to senior management
Essential Requirements
- Current SMSTS Certification
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Asbestos Awareness training
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience in retail, commercial fit-outs or live refurbishment projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Contract Specification
- Location: Birmingham city centre
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: 4-week contractor-based contract
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Shift Type: Day shifts only
- Pay Rate: £280 per shift (CIS basis)
- Extra assignments may be available per candidate
