- Social Infrastructure – Revitalising homes and communities through retrofit, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
Job Description: Site Manager (Social Housing – Roofing & Externals)
United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead planned works in the social housing sector, with a focus on roofing and external refurbishments. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, quality standards, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site activities related to roofing and external projects, in occupied social housing properties.
- Conduct site inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks to uphold a safe and compliant working environment.
- Monitor project progress against agreed programmes, resolving issues proactively to prevent delays.
- Ensure works meet highest quality standards, contractual requirements, regulatory compliance, and health and safety obligations.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and operatives, aligning operations to meet project milestones.
- Ensure all personnel are properly trained, equipped with correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintained with adequate tools.
- Collaborate with the commercial team on cost tracking, reviewing subcontractor scopes, and managing day works.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- CSCS Managers card (valid)
- Valid driving licence
- SMSTS certificate
- First Aid at Work qualification
- Temporary Works Certificate (desirable)
- Fire Marshal certificate (desirable)
- DBS Check: Required
- Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time
