Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out

Permanent | Swindon (Site-Based with Flexible Working)

Salary: £45,000+ DOE + Excellent Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing specialist fit-out contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality commercial interior projects across the UK.

This is an exciting time to join a business with a healthy pipeline of work, where quality, collaboration and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards from site set-up through to completion.

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on programme, within budget and in line with strict quality and safety requirements.

Working closely with Project Managers, clients, designers and subcontractors, you'll coordinate all site activities while maintaining a professional and well-organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of commercial fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant and material deliveries.
  • Ensure projects progress in line with programme milestones.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and quality throughout each phase of construction.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and proactively resolve defects or construction issues.
  • Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks with site teams.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain site documentation, including RAMS, permits and construction records.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team, providing regular progress updates.
  • Manage project handovers, snagging and site close-down activities.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and organised Site Manager who enjoys working in fast-paced environments and takes pride in delivering projects to an exceptional standard.

You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience managing commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and workstreams.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
