Role Title: Site Manager

Location: Tonbridge

Salary: GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Package


Looking for a Site Manager position with a contractor offering a clear, accelerated pathway into Project Management?

We have been retained by a thriving main contractor to source a talented Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on flagship leisure, commercial, and hospitality developments based out of the Tonbridge area.

Our client is taking a stronghold on the regional market and is heavily investing in candidates who want to develop quickly within their business. If you bring Tier 1 standards, strong site presence, and a client-ready attitude, this company offers real, tangible opportunities to progress into Senior Site Manager and Project Manager roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operational management of trade contractors, sub-contractors, and direct labor on site.
  • Enforce rigorous Tier 1 standards across Health and Safety, Quality Control, and logistics.
  • Represent the contractor during site walk-throughs with clients, public sector bodies, and local authorities.
  • Manage short-term look-ahead programs to keep site progress strictly on schedule.
  • Deliver daily site inductions, RAMS reviews, and safety briefings.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Solid site management experience on Leisure, Hospitality, or Commercial projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Tier 1 processes and high-standard site setups.
  • Confident, client-facing communication style for public sector stakeholder interaction.

Required Tickets: SMSTS, CSCS Managerial Card, First Aid at Work (Fire Warden or Scaffold Inspection desirable).
