Site Manager
We have a position available for a Site Manager to join our site teams based in Codicote, Hertfordshire working on a development that comprising of timber frame traditional build houses.

What you'll be doing:
Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all those who come into contact with the site. Deal with customers, visitors, the public and Company staff in a courteous manner to promote a good image of the Company. Prepare and present to the Building Director a detailed analysis carried out during a pre-planning process on the full concept of each new project, covering all aspects of safety, quality, presentation, sales and cost. Carry out weekly Safety Inspections to ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations. Monitor and check setting out carried out by subcontractors to ensure accuracy prior to commencement of building and as required during construction. Assist with training of any staff under your responsibility. Assist Surveyor with ongoing and final account preparations. Ensure roads, drainage, open space, etc. are completed and put into maintenance before leaving the site.
Skills & knowledge you'll bring:
Proven experience of working within the Residential property or house builder sector experience
Experience and knowledge of traditional build and timber frame structures
Hold a professional or technical Building qualification or degree

Ideally, MCIOB qualified or working towards
Strong experience and knowledge of building regulations, health & safety legislation, NHBC standards and other required building standards
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with all levels of staff and clients
Ability to manage subcontractors and site operatives effectively
