About The Role
Due to continued growth, Adaston is expanding its Operations team and is looking to appoint additional Site Managers to support the successful delivery of our passive fire protection projects.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of passive fire protection projects across the South of England, with a particular focus on fire stopping. This role will include a company van and fuel card. You will oversee site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to the highest quality standards, and within budget.
This role includes a company van and fuel card and will involve regular travel to sites across the region.
You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, clients, subcontractors, and office-based support teams, you will coordinate installation teams, monitor progress, maintain compliance, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently from start to finish.
Our projects are delivered across a variety of live and occupied environments, including healthcare facilities, social housing, student accommodation, education settings, and other complex buildings. This role requires a proactive, organised individual with excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of passive fire protection standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects, with a particular focus on fire stopping works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, to the required quality standards, and within budget
- Coordinate daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager and wider team to support smooth programme delivery
- Produce regular progress reports and site updates
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional, and transparent communication
- Lead, supervise, and develop installation teams on site, promoting high standards of workmanship and safety
- Monitor quality of works and ensure compliance with relevant specifications and regulations
- Identify and escalate any site issues that may impact programme, quality, or cost
About You
- Holds relevant qualifications in passive fire protection and/or fire door removal and installation
- Proven experience in site or project management, ideally within occupied or complex buildings
- Experience managing multiple operatives and subcontractors on active sites
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance standards
- Solid understanding of site safety requirements and best practices
- Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and desire to develop professionally
- Clear, confident communicator with good client-facing skills
- Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive experience working in passive fire protection, with particular expertise in fire stopping
