Site Manager / Working Foreman – York – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Working Foreman to oversee a building refurbishment project based in York, with an immediate start available.
Job Details
- Location: York
- Rate: £270–£300 per day (DOE)
- Start: ASAP / Monday
- Hours: Full-time

- Managing the day-to-day running of a live building site
- Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
- Overseeing refurbishment and minor building works
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety inspections
- Liaising with the client, subcontractors and project team
- Monitoring quality, programme and site progress
- Ordering materials and coordinating site deliveries
- Completing daily site diaries and progress reports
- Assisting with site activities where required

Requirements
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Previous experience managing commercial building or refurbishment projects
- Strong communication and organisational skills
