Site Manager / Working Foreman – York – Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Working Foreman to oversee a building refurbishment project based in York, with an immediate start available.

Job Details

  • Location: York
  • Rate: £270–£300 per day (DOE)
  • Start: ASAP / Monday
  • Hours: Full-time

  • Managing the day-to-day running of a live building site
  • Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
  • Overseeing refurbishment and minor building works
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety inspections
  • Liaising with the client, subcontractors and project team
  • Monitoring quality, programme and site progress
  • Ordering materials and coordinating site deliveries
  • Completing daily site diaries and progress reports
  • Assisting with site activities where required

Requirements

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid at Work
  • Previous experience managing commercial building or refurbishment projects
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
