Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Site Manager on a 5 month contract based in Basingstoke

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major substation project, managing site operations safely and efficiently while ensuring works are delivered to programme and the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of M&E upgrade works on a live 132kV / 33kV substation.
- Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour on site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications and programme.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead site briefings, toolbox talks and daily coordination meetings.
- Liaise with the client, project management team and other stakeholders.
- Oversee RAMS, permits, quality inspections and project documentation.
- Monitor progress and resolve site issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on HV substation projects.
- Strong background delivering Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) upgrades.
- Experience working on live 132kV and/or 33kV substations.
- Current SSE Authorisation is essential for site access. (Cat 1 Minimum)
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
