Site Manager

Telford & Wrekin Council,

Permanent, 25 hours per week - Monday – Friday 6:00am until 9:00am and 4:00pm until 6pm

Term Time, plus 3 weeks

We are looking to appoint an experienced, effective and motivated Site Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an essential role in a happy, thriving and inclusive school.

We can offer a welcoming, supportive and friendly community of staff and governors who promote a strong culture of support and ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for the security, cleanliness and maintenance of the whole school site
  • Ensure that the school complies with all current legislation relating to site safety and management
  • Promote and participate in achieving the most efficient and economic use of the school premises, plant, equipment and materials.
  • Be a key holder for the school and be responsible for the routine and non-routine (emergencies) opening and closing of the premises
  • Manage the site contractors and the team of cleaners
