Experienced Site Manager – Non-Working Role
St Albans | 4-Week Contract | £280 Per Shift (CIS)
Bee Construction is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee the refurbishment of a live fitness facility in St Albans. This is a critical non-working Site Manager role, responsible for managing daily project operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the highest health and safety standards are maintained throughout.
About the Role The project is part of a nationwide refurbishment programme for one of the UK’s leading fitness operators. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to work on further projects after completing this contract.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery
- Leading daily site briefings and client meetings
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Reviewing Risk Assessments (RAMS) and permits as required
- Monitoring project progress and work quality
- Liaising with the Project Manager and Project Director
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised site
- Submitting regular progress reports
Essential Requirements
- SMSTS qualification
- First Aid at Work certification
- Asbestos Awareness training
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience in retail, commercial fit-out, or refurbishment
- Strong communication and organisational skills

Contract Details
- Location: St Albans
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 4-week contract
- Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, day shifts
- Rate: £280 per shift (via CIS payments)
