Location: George St West, Blackburn, BB2 1PQ
Hours:
- Summer:
- Working Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Daily Hours: 11 hours (08:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
- Winter:
- Working Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Daily Hours: 9 hours (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM)
- Scope: Work across Blackburn and Darwen, with flexibility to support multiple sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities
As part of this team, you’ll provide exceptional customer service while maximizing recycling and waste recovery. Your main duties will include:
- Assisting members of the public in optimising material recovery processes.
- Keeping detailed records of material removals from the site.
- Managing container exchanges by coordinating bookings to maintain proper site flow.
- Ensuring cleanliness and organisation in assigned areas of the site.
- Adhering to health, safety, and welfare regulations for both employees and site visitors.
- Collaborating with SUEZ staff to comply with site permits, legal standards, and company policies.
- Performing additional duties within the role’s scope, as requested.
Requirements
