Site Operative – Permanent, Full-Time
Position Overview
Hours: 37 per week Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Tuesday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm (Hours reduce to 8:00am – 4:00pm on Monday–Friday during school closure periods)
Salary: £26,403 – £27,254 per annum (Grade 5, SCP 7–9)

About the Role
The Site Operative will support the school with broader caretaking responsibilities, including:
- Site maintenance – Ensuring the building’s care, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Security – Protecting facilities and assets during operating hours.
- General upkeep – Enhancing the school’s appearance and fabric.
Key requirements:
- Flexibility to cover shifts during absences or illnesses.
- Commitment to collaborate with teaching and administration staff as a positive role model for students.
- Demonstrating teamwork, respect, and a dedication to excellence in a School setting.
