Site Operator - Bio Dynamic Anaerobic Digestion Facility
We are looking for a Site Operator to join our team at the Bio Dynamic anaerobic digestion facility, helping process organic waste and produce renewable energy.
This is a hands-on role working in a food waste environment involving plant operation, waste processing, and equipment operation within a busy industrial setting. As you would expect in this type of operation, there will be natural odours associated with food waste and organic materials, so this role is best suited to someone who is comfortable working in that environment.

Salary
The position is paid at £30,100 per annum with a £1,350 uplift after successfully completing a six-month probation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Accepting, inspecting and processing waste deliveries
- Operating mobile plant (telehandler / fork lift truck)
- Assisting with daily plant operations and monitoring
- Supporting planned maintenance and basic repairs
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
- Helping maximise biogas production and plant performance
Requirements
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Ability to work as part of a team

Experience in anaerobic digestion, biogas, wastewater, mobile plant or waste processing would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Pattern
- Hours of work – 10 hours on Friday and Saturday from 05:30 in the morning until 15:30 in the afternoon, Sunday and Monday from 12:30 in the afternoon until 22:30 in the evening.
