SITE PLANNER
Location: Fawley, UK
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Site Planner to support the delivery of large-scale projects, responsible for the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules and associated reporting.
This role will oversee the coordination and production of all project planning deliverables, ensuring alignment with company, client, and project requirements. Working closely with project controls, engineering, and client stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate planning, reporting, and schedule performance management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules for large projects or portfolios of modification projects
- Produce and manage planning deliverables including S-curves, histograms, and progress reports
- Establish and manage baseline schedules using project estimates, CTRs, and input from project teams
- Apply logic links, coding structures, and schedule analysis to ensure accurate forecasting
- Monitor schedule performance, analysing baseline versus actual progress and reporting variances
- Ensure timely issuance of updated plans and associated documentation
- Lead and support planning team activities, ensuring consistency and quality of outputs
- Promote effective collaboration across project controls, engineering, and client teams
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and project-specific procedures
- Maintain high-quality data within project control systems and tools
- Interface regularly with client planners and project management teams
- Support risk analysis activities and integrate risk impacts into project schedules
- Provide proposal support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives where required

Requirements
- HNC or equivalent qualification (Degree desirable)
- Strong experience in project planning within major projects or large project packages
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project control tools
- Experience developing and managing baseline schedules and reporting structures
- Background within oil & gas, petrochemical, nuclear, or renewables industries (desirable)
- Strong understanding of planning methodologies, project controls, and risk management
- Experience leading or mentoring planning teams
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including client-facing engagement
- Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with project control systems and integrated reporting tools
- Experience supporting proposal development and maintaining planning procedures
