Monday to Friday 21.30pm - 06.30am
Job details
To ensure that hygiene operatives working in the area are following the correct procedures so that all microbiological, physical, chemical and allergen contamination is removed from equipment which has been cleaned.
- Supervise the hygiene operatives working in the area to ensure following the correct procedures during hygiene tasks and the required hygiene standards are matched or exceeded.
- Inspecting the finished standards of equipment on completion of hygiene tasks.
- Completing of required paperwork to ensure compliance with external customer codes of practice.
- Scheduling and monitoring of breaks during the night shift of hygiene operatives working in the area.
- Report any issues to engineering department and hygiene senior supervisor immediately to ensure that there is no downtime at start of production.
- Training of hygiene operatives in hygiene standard operating procedures, completing sign off paperwork on CIC’s.
- Completing COSHH training with all new starters.
- Operate and follow health and safety procedures, both in the use of chemicals and when dismantling / reassembling equipment.
- Work with hygiene team members to complete assigned tasks in the required timeframes, supporting others to complete their work when you have completed your tasks.
- Always seek to minimise waste from chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure PPE and consumables are always available and ready for use by staff entering production areas.
- Ensuring stock numbers are kept up to date through the night.
- Plan in weekly and Periodical plans through the week.

Qualifications

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- Food Safety Level 2.
- COSHH training provided
