Are you passionate about Health & Safety and quality, and creating a safe working environment? As a QHES Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting our QEHS team, helping to maintain the highest standards across the site while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the business, work with external partners, and help shape a culture where quality, safety, and compliance are everyone's responsibility.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about quality, food safety, health and safety, and who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be a proactive problem solver who takes ownership, works confidently within established processes, and knows when to challenge the status quo to deliver the right outcome. Strong relationship-building skills, visible leadership, and the ability to coach and engage others are essential, along with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and raising standards across the site every day.

How Will You Make An Impact
As part of the QEHS team, you'll
- Drive quality, food safety, and compliance standards across the site, ensuring adherence to company policies, customer requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Champion a strong quality and food safety culture, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Provide specialist QEHS expertise, supporting risk assessments, incident investigations, crisis management, and product/process improvements.
- Lead key compliance activities, including internal audits, pest control management, laboratory support, and corrective action processes.
- Act as a site leader for security and QEHS projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and high-performing workplace.
What Will You Need To Succeed
We're looking for someone with
- Experience in one or more QEHS disciplines, typically gained over 3+ years, or a recent degree in a relevant discipline with the enthusiasm to develop.
- A proactive approach and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering high standards.
- A NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (desirable).
