Walker Cole International is supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the search for a Quality Assurance Director
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape the quality function, drive compliance across a GMP manufacturing operation and play a key role in supporting the business's long-term growth and performance.
Your responsibilities as the Quality Assurance Director will include:
- Define and deliver the site's quality strategy, ensuring robust quality systems that support regulatory compliance and business objectives.
- Lead all aspects of the Quality Assurance function, developing a high-performing team and fostering a strong culture of quality across the organisation.
- Provide expert guidance on quality and regulatory matters, acting as the senior quality contact during inspections and external audits.
- Partner with manufacturing, technical and commercial teams to improve operational performance, support new business opportunities and manage quality risk.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency and the overall effectiveness of the quality function.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- A proven track record leading Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Eligibility to act as a Qualified Person (QP), supported by substantial experience operating within licensed pharmaceutical facilities.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, leading quality strategy and building high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems, regulatory expectations and inspection management.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to balance compliance, operational performance and commercial priorities.
