Job Description
What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Service Protection team in Glasgow on a 9 month FTC. The role provides good exposure across environment management, release support, and cross team coordination.

As Site Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include among others:
Overseeing daily health check reporting from the test team, coordinating resolution of any issues (e.g. batch failures, trading platform issues, CORD outputs) and performing CORD releases in UAT and Production Supporting file transfer investigations (VLTrader / GoAnywhere) Coordinating quarterly SEI test environment switches / credential updates and handling UAT SEI account setup requests Managing Avaloq test account passwords and updating passwords on a monthly basis for the spreadsheet listing all Avaloq Oracle user accounts Raising and coordinating environment refresh requests (e.g. DWH, StatPro) Supporting UAT API connection issues between Iress and Voyant, UAT access requests for Voyant, UAT API connection issues between Iress and PlannerPal and UAT access requests for PlannerPal

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
Previous experience in IT Service Management (ITIL), ideally within Change, Release, or Transition Understanding of ITIL practices and service lifecycle governance Ability to assess risk, apply structured challenge, and support governance decisions Experience working in multi-system, multi-vendor environments Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data for decision making Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
