ClearScore is a workplace like no other. Over the past ten years, we’ve disrupted an entire industry and built a user base of millions. At the heart of this success is our culture: we work hard, embrace change, and treat each other with respect, enabling everyone to reach their potential and deliver results that truly make a difference.

We’re on a mission to positively impact the lives of our users. Our product puts their needs at the centre of our thinking. Through cutting-edge technology, insightful analytics, and beautiful design, we help our users build financial confidence and make better financial decisions.

We want our people to perform at their best, so we trust everyone to work in a way that suits them, focusing on output rather than time spent at a screen. We have an inclusive culture where everyone is encouraged to look after their wellbeing while growing and developing their career.

The Role

ClearScore is expanding and to support our productivity, reliability, and efficiency, we are expanding our Site Reliability Engineering team. Our SRE team is responsible for building our internal developer platform which provides three nines of uptime to all critical services, supports over a thousand production releases per month, and scales intelligently in response to system load and unexpected events. Joining our SRE team gives you the chance to sit at the heart of an exciting tech culture, exploring best-in-class tools to solve challenging problems. We’re looking for self-motivated problem solvers with backgrounds in development or operations. We use a laundry list of technology to make things work (including Kubernetes, golang, python, Kafka, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD). While prior exposure to these is good, we’re really looking for people with strong fundamentals in automation, networking, and containerisation in the belief that specific technological implementations can be picked up by the right candidate.

What you will be doing:

  • You will work with a range of technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Python, Go, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Kafka, and will be supported to learn how these are used in practice across the business.
  • You will be encouraged to use AI tooling, taking a pragmatic approach that improves efficiency while ensuring changes remain thoughtful, reviewable, and maintainable.
  • You will be expected to contribute to operational support, take ownership of investigating and resolving routine issues, and build an understanding of how your work affects other teams and the wider business.

For more information on our tech stack, check out our 2026 Tech Radar, how we work is summarised in our Engineering Principles, and we have many other Tech Blogs on Medium.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
