Site Reliability Engineer III – External Collaboration Team
JPMorgan Chase
As a Site Reliability Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you’ll lead development and integration of collaboration platforms like VDRs, Microsoft 365 B2B, Client Portals, and Google Workspace. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) belongs to the Software Engineering job family and requires competency in one or more programming languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage secure external sharing solutions and workflows.
- Oversee identity and access for external users, including Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and conditional access policies.
- Evaluate and onboard SaaS tools while ensuring compliance alignment.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and enhance reliability through targeted solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance collaboration experiences.
- Support proof-of-concept (PoC) projects aimed at improving collaboration workflows.
- Understand federated authentication via Google Identity Platform and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Apply change management practices and Agile frameworks to implement globally impacts changes, including testing, documentation, and guidance for operations teams.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Degree (BS/BA) in relevant field combined with hands-on experience in SaaS collaboration and enterprise IT.
- Specialized expertise in:
- Microsoft 365 B2B & Google Identity/Workspace
- Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs)
- Scripting proficiency in PowerShell or Python
- Microsoft Graph and Google APIs
- Entra ID, app registration, and identity federation
- OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication frameworks
- Experience working in large-scale hybrid environments focusing on performance and security.
- Familiarity with IT operations, change control processes, and incident management.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
- Expensive in modern frameworks: Node.js, React, Java, or C#.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and serverless design patterns.
- Monitoring expertise: Experience with Azure Monitor, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Passion for security: Committed to building and enforcing secure, inclusive collaboration solutions.
