Site Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to Company, Site & Client, H&S policies and procedures at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues. Routinely promote a safe working culture.
- Work in an efficient and effective manner, maintain an organised and controlled workspace.
- Working within the agreed Method Statements and Work Instructions:
- Conduct root cause and fault-finding analysis on electro-mechanical equipment and systems.
- Document findings, causes and corrective actions, recommending repairs, replacement parts and spares requirements into customer reports.
- Where appropriate and feasible, undertake on-site maintenance, repairs and refurbishment.
- Undertake the dismantling and removal of rotating equipment and other mechanical equipment for removal from site as required.
- Fully dismantle, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, rebuild and test completed equipment as required.
- Undertake the re-installation of all types of rotating equipment and other mechanical equipment following workshop repair, and conduct field tests and commissioning as per agreed contract.
- Undertake routine service and maintenance work on client's sites.
- Attend breakdown work on clients' sites as required.
- Work in the Company's workshops as business needs dictate.

Essential
- Mechanical apprenticeship, time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar, field based, role and working environment.
- Flexible approach to working times in line with company's reactive nature.
- Knowledge of basic H&S requirements on a production site.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Multi skilled (electro-mechanical capability) an advantage.
