About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Site Services Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role, working across:
- Electrical systems
- Site utilities
- Building services
within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving site services, ensuring essential systems remain reliable, compliant, and safe. Working closely with the engineering and production teams, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance while coordinating contractors and ensuring all statutory testing and compliance documentation is kept up to date.

- Electrical testing and inspection
- Maintaining utilities such as:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Drainage systems

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Technical Qualifications & Experience
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) Electrical Qualification
- 2391 or 2392 Electrical Testing & Inspection
- Experience working within:
- Building services
- Facilities maintenance
- Site maintenance environments
Understanding & Compliance
- Strong understanding of:
- Site utilities (HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution)
- Permit-to-work procedures and safety compliance standards
Desired Experience
Maintenance
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance
Technical Proficiency
- Electrical fault-finding and inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Workplace Collaboration
- Experience working independently and as part of a small engineering team
- Good communication skills for working with:
- Contractors
- Internal departments
Desirable Past Experience
- Food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Experience using CMMS systems (e.g., Ultimo)
- IPAF or scissor lift certification (or willingness to obtain)
