SITE SERVICES ENGINEER
Job Title: Site Services Engineer
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Salary: £42,500
Shift: Days - Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) - 42.5 hours per week
Job Role of the Site Services Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Site Services Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys a varied role, working across electrical systems, site utilities, and building services within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving site services, ensuring essential systems remain reliable, compliant, and safe. Working closely with the engineering and production teams, you will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance while coordinating contractors and ensuring all statutory testing and compliance documentation is kept up to date.

You will be responsible for electrical testing and inspection, maintaining utilities such as HVAC, plumbing and drainage systems, supporting planned preventative maintenance, and responding to site issues quickly to minimise downtime and disruption to operations.

Sector - Factory Maintenance / Building Services
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Site Services Engineer
- 18th Edition (BS 7671) Electrical Qualification
- 2391 or 2392 Electrical Testing & Inspection
- Experience working within building services, facilities maintenance, or site maintenance environments
- Strong understanding of site utilities including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical distribution
- Ability to follow permit-to-work procedures and safety compliance standard
Requirements for the Site Services Engineer
- Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
- Strong electrical fault-finding and inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working independently and as part of a small engineering team
- Good communication skills when working with contractors and internal department
Desirable Requirements for the Site Services Engineer
- Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
- Experience using CMMS systems (such as Ultimo)
- IPAF / scissor lift certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or site projects
