ROLE OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity for a Site Services Manager (Soft Facilities) to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation based in London. Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to oversee the management of site operations of their Head Office, ensuring smooth daily activities and fostering a positive working environment. This role offers a unique chance to be at the heart of a high-value pharmaceutical site, supporting key leadership visits and operating as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

The Site Services Manager will be responsible for coordinating site support activities, managing facility contractors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and corporate policies. You will play an integral role in enhancing the site’s operational standards and contributing to internal communications and event planning.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties as the Site Services Manager (Soft Facilities) will be varied, however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site management activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with company and site policies.
  • Act as the primary contact for visiting global leaders, external vendors, and internal teams, handling inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Manage relationships with soft facility contractors including catering, cleaning, work wear suppliers, and minor works providers.
  • Support the organisation of business and social events, outreach initiatives, and charity functions to foster a positive company presence.
  • As the Site Services Manager, you will support procurement processes related to facility services, including re-tendering and performance monitoring.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Site Services Manager (Soft Facilities) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Facilities Management, Business Administration, Safety Management).
  • Proven experience in a similar site management or facilities coordination role within the pharmaceutical or a comparable sector.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure compliance with safety and corporate standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a discreet and diplomatic approach to sensitive issues.
