Site Maintenance Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Site Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a highly regulated environment. This is a key role responsible for ensuring facilities, systems, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
If you have a strong background in facilities, engineering, or maintenance leadership and enjoy managing both people and processes, this could be an excellent next step.
About The Role
You will oversee the day-to-day maintenance of site infrastructure, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance while leading a small team and managing external contractors.
A strong focus on health & safety, compliance, and continuous improvement is essential, alongside the ability to operate in a structured, high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate site maintenance activities across facilities
- Ensure all systems and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition
- Manage and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Oversee key systems such as heating, ventilation, and backup power (generators)
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and fault reporting systems
- Identify opportunities for site improvements and efficiency gains
- Source and manage contractors and service providers
- Obtain quotations and oversee repair and replacement works
- Promote and embed a strong health & safety culture
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards
- Support operational teams with day-to-day facility requirements

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a maintenance, facilities, or engineering supervisory role
- Practical knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team
- IT proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving licence

Desirable
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks or quality standards (e.g. ISO systems)
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
