Site Setup Coordinator – Asset and Technology Solutions (Northern Scotland)
About the Role
We are looking for a Site Setup Coordinator to join our Asset and Technology Solutions (ATS) business, supporting projects across Northern Scotland.
This role plays a key part in ensuring construction sites are fully prepared for successful project delivery from day one, as well as efficiently demobilised upon project completion. Acting as a central point of contact, you will coordinate all aspects of site setup and logistics, working closely with internal teams, project stakeholders, and the supply chain.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mobilisation and demobilisation services, ensuring all arrangements are in place, standards are met, and customer expectations are exceeded. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring regular site visits and strong stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing site mobilisation and demobilisation activities across multiple projects
- Attending site to oversee setup activities, ensuring all requirements are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers, stakeholders, and suppliers throughout the mobilisation process
- Planning and managing programmes for site setups, including temporary facilities and equipment
- Building strong working relationships with project teams, suppliers, and internal departments
- Ensuring all orders and arrangements are accurately placed and delivered in line with agreed timescales
- Monitoring progress of site setup activities and proactively resolving any issues or delays
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance across all site activities
- Managing data, documentation, and reporting to ensure accurate records and effective handovers
- Producing reports (including cost data and lessons learned) to support continuous improvement
- Supporting projects in defining and delivering their mobilisation requirements
- Contributing to a positive customer experience by ensuring clear communication and efficient service delivery

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a construction or site-based environment, ideally with exposure to site setup or coordination activities
- Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive and solution-focused approach, with strong problem-solving skills
- Good IT proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Customer service focus, ensuring high-quality outcomes
Technical & Compliance Requirements
- CSCS Card (or equivalent)
- Relevant site safety qualification (SSSTS or SMSTS)
- Willingness to travel across Northern Scotland and stay away from home when required
Desirable
- NVQ in Construction (Supervision or Management)
- Experience working on construction sites or within project delivery teams
- Additional safety or site certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Awareness, Banksman)
