Site Supervisor (Blackberry Hill Hospital – Bristol) – NHS Maintenance

Rydon Maintenance Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their highly regarded NHS maintenance team at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol.

Responsibilities
Working as Site Supervisor at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol under an NHS Trust contract, your key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring quality maintenance service delivery to the client
- Performing daily site maintenance duties, including:
- Responsive repairs and preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Acting as the focal point for external sub-contractors, organising planned maintenance visits
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation for audits
- Assisting in inspections to verify timely, satisfactory completion of work
- Ensuring the site is left clean, safe, and compliant

Working Arrangements
- Normal working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Ongoing on-call rota (additional earnings and urgent repairs management)

This is an excellent role combining supervisory duties with hands-on maintenance responsibilities.
Requirements & Experience
We’re looking for an ideal candidate who demonstrates:
- Previous experience in a multi-skilled or trade role, preferably in:
- NHS maintenance (direct or as a contracted provider)
- Maintenance of commercial properties (schools, prisons, supermarkets, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent people skills & strong attention to detail
- Passion for supervisory duties while maintaining an active trade role
