Project Site Supervisor – Critical Role

Purpose of the Role

As the Project Site Supervisor, you will oversee the health, safety and quality of all on-site works across the network. Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspections, audits, and sign-off for work completion
  • Supporting with ongoing maintenance
  • Working closely with HSQC and installation teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction works, including conducting audits and comparing against project drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all construction works comply with safety regulations, prioritising safety above all
  • Advise on technical issues as required
  • Liaise with installers and surveyors
  • Produce regular reports to update clients and business stakeholders
  • Identify and document any discrepancies between work and project specifications and ensure corrections
  • Collaborate with the HSQE Department to meet health, safety, legal, construction and quality requirements
  • Certify all works in accordance with health, safety and quality standards
  • Approve quality of works for payment authorisation
  • Attend key meetings with Installation Partners, DNOs and external parties to provide technical support and advice

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Hold any of the following qualifications:
    • NRSWA Street Works Supervisor
    • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course: Site Safety Plus
    • SHEA Power (Supervisor Level) or equivalent
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Full, clean driving licence (required due to travel obligations)
