Site Supervisor - EV Infrastructure
Location: South of England (committed to travelling to sites around Dorset and surrounding areas)
Salary: Competitive with vehicle
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
About the Role
Join Ground Control and help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure.
We're searching for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of electric vehicle charging projects across the South of England.
Working alongside the Site Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day supervision, ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, and support field teams, contractors, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager with day-to-day supervision and coordination of EV infrastructure projects.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring work aligns with project plans and deadlines.
- Coordinate labor, materials, plant, and equipment to support efficient delivery.
- Lead daily site briefings and serve as the first point of contact for field teams and subcontractors.
- Monitor team performance, guide work quality, and conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Ensure RAMS, permits, and required documentation are ready before work begins.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards at Ground Control.
- Report hazards, near misses, and best practices using Safety Culture.
- Communicate site progress, challenges, and client updates to the Site Manager.
- Keep detailed project records using Microsoft Office, Skillco, and Safety Culture.

Requirements
Essential
- CSCS card or SSSTS qualification
- Experience working on construction or infrastructure sites
- Knowledge of RAMS, permits, and health & safety processes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience supervising site teams or subcontractors
- Experience in EV infrastructure, utilities, highways, civils, landscaping, or horticulture
- Knowledge of NRSWA (Street Works)
- Familiarity with Skillco and Safety Culture
