Site Supervisor
Site Supervisor
Location: Ludlow, Shropshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility on hours available if desired)
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role within the water sector, initially based on a waste-water project in Ludlow for approximately 12 months. There's potential for longer-term work across the wider Severn Trent region and Shropshire area, offering you the chance to grow your career with us while making a real impact on essential infrastructure projects.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Supervisor, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction projects.
Your Day To Day Will Include
- Overseeing civils and MEICA works, ensuring delivery meets Kier standards and procedures
- Implementing health, safety and environmental standards, including site inductions, daily briefings and audits
- Monitoring quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and procedures
- Coordinating plant and materials procurement throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintaining accurate site records and collaborating with the wider project team

What are we looking for?
This role of Site Supervisor is great for you if:
- You have proven experience in the construction industry, with civils experience preferable
- You hold SSSTS (minimum) or SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid at Work qualifications
- You have knowledge of CDM and experience in producing and implementing Safe Systems of Work
- You possess strong communication and team management skills
- You have basic IT skills and can demonstrate the right behaviours to motivate and lead a team
