Lead the Charge in Recycling: Join Us as a Site Supervisor
Location: East Grinstead
Working days: Mon-Friday
Working hrs: 6.30am till 5pm
Pay rate: £17.71 per hour
Are you a motivated leader with a passion for sustainable operations? As a Site Supervisor, you'll take charge of the day-to-day management of our recycling centre, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient operations. Your Core Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of employees and agency staff, helping them achieve their best
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring resources are used effectively and performance targets are met
- Maintain Health & Safety and environmental standards while adhering to company procedures
- Work closely with clients, customers, regulators, and the public to foster trust and collaboration
- Coordinate site maintenance to keep everything running smoothly and effectively
- Support budget preparation and monitor monthly performance metrics
- Take on a rewarding leadership position in a vital community operation
- Play a direct role in promoting sustainability and improving recycling efforts

Requirements
Our essential requirements:
- IOSH Managing Safety or an equivalent qualification
- WAMITAB COTC Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
- Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment
- A solid understanding of waste industry legislation and processes
- Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders
- Availability for emergency call-outs and willingness to assist across other business areas as needed
