By joining our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Site Supervisor in our Operations Team, you’ll work with true experts who’ll share their knowledge and provide support, encouragement, and invaluable feedback so you never stop learning.

Based across the UK on our projects you will work on our Large Infrastructure within our Power Transmission and Distribution Projects.

The location of this role is Rochester

Roles include a generous subsistence package (subject to T&C's), Allowances, Pension, and career progression within the industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise site operatives and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery
  • Deliver clear daily briefings, toolbox talks, and task instructions
  • Ensure works meet programme, quality, and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate labour, plant, and materials to keep works progressing
  • Maintain accurate site records, timesheets, and progress updates
  • Monitor site activity and escalate issues where required
  • Drive Zero Harm, ensuring safe systems of work are implemented and followed
  • Review and implement RAMS, permits, and work packs
  • Ensure all operatives are competent, inducted, and correctly equipped
  • Lead on health, safety, and behavioural standards
  • Report and support investigation of incidents and near misses
  • Work collaboratively with Engineers, Project Teams, and supply chain
  • Identify and resolve site delivery issues in real time
  • Monitor progress against programme and support performance on site
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

Who we're looking for

  • Proven experience supervising substation, cabling, or OHL works (ideally up to 400kV)
  • Strong track record of maintaining safe systems of work on site
  • Experience leading operatives and coordinating day-to-day activities
  • Confident delivering briefings and site instructions
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and programme delivery
  • Clear communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and organised, able to keep works moving under pressure
  • CSCS, SSSTS (or equivalent) and Full UK Driving Licence
  • Desirable: Commercial awareness and understanding of safety legislation
