Site Supervisor – NHS Maintenance Contract (Blackberry Hill Hospital, Bristol)

Job Purpose
Rydon Maintenance seeks a Site Supervisor for their Bristol site under a contract with an NHS Trust. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality maintenance services are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on daily site maintenance duties, including responsive repairs and PPM (Planned & Preventative Maintenance).
- Act as the primary liaison for external sub-contractors, coordinating and scheduling planned maintenance visits as needed.
- Ensure health and safety compliance, maintain accurate site documentation, and update records for audits.
- Assist in inspections to verify works are executed to standard, within timeframes, with the site left clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Participate in an on-call rota system (additional earnings for urgent repairs available).

Working Hours & Commitments
📌 Standard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday) 📌 Flexibility needed: Rotating on-call shifts available

Experience & Requirements
The ideal candidate should demonstrate: ✔ Multi-skilled or trade-based experience, preferably within NHS or commercial properties (e.g., hospitals, schools, or prisons). ✔ Strong administrative skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel at a basic level). ✔ Exceptional people skills and attention to detail. ✔ Desire to combine supervisory responsibilities with maintaining active involvement in trade duties.
Roles outside NHS maintenance (e.g., supermarkets) will also be considered.
