Responsibilities:

  • Promote and foster a proactive safety culture within the area of responsibility
  • Participate in industrialization, process optimization, and efficiency improvement projects
  • Support the pre-project phase, including budget estimation, risk identification, and quotation preparation
  • Design optimal material, information, and process flows (inbound, internal, and outbound logistics)
  • Define optimal inventory levels and lead times
  • Develop functional specifications for packaging solutions in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams
  • Organize packaging tests, fine-tuning activities, and approval processes through to customer validation
  • Support the interface and integration with IT systems
  • Contribute to supplier selection processes (transportation, packaging, SILS, logistics platforms)
  • Develop and document supply chain processes and conduct FMEAs and audits
  • Support the plant during SOP (Start of Production) and ramp-up phases

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Packaging Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Solid understanding of Lean Management principles and supply chain tools
  • Good knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and the ability to use 3D viewer software
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and digital tools
  • Customer-oriented mindset, strong team spirit, and ability to work independently
  • Excellent intercultural and cross-functional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Fluent in (written and spoken)
