Job Title Site Supply Chain Manager
Reporting To Director, Regional SC – Europe
Work Schedule Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR
About the Role
Moog Aircraft Group is looking for a Site Supply Chain Manager to join our facility in Wolverhampton, as a key member of the Military Aircraft Group within the Supply Chain and Purchasing Team. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director.
In this position, you will:
- Lead supplier-facing supply chain effectiveness, including cross-regional coordination to meet site needs and integrate suppliers into product build and delivery processes.
- Oversee Indirect/Direct Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Strategic Sourcing Strategies, and New Product Introduction.
The role demands strong hands-on execution in maximizing supplier-facing supply chain effectiveness while acting as a leader—mentoring and coaching your team within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with the Supply Chain organisation, collaborating with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to ensure timely material availability.
- Define and communicate site priorities to the Supply Chain Director and broader organisation.
- Represent Supply Chain in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning.
- Oversee procurement orders (POs), ensuring alignment with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and Moog processes.
- Ensure upstream supplier integration (e.g., demand visibility, lean materials management, procurement process automation) while acting as the interface between supply chain, planning, and logistics.
- Monitor obsolescence management to mitigate disruptions and cost impact.
- Lead supply chain representation in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), customer audits, and process assessments.

Key Skills and Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Economics/Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience (typically post-studio) in manufacturing supply chain management.
- 5+ years in a supervisory/management role.
Leadership and Technical Skills
- Strong team leadership and people management ability.
- Ability to maintain a strategic perspective, anticipating challenges posed by long-lead suppliers.
- Excellence in organisation, planning, and goal-focused work.
- Ensures minimum supervision with resourcefulness, problem-solving abilities, and initiative.

Industry & Regulatory Knowledge
- Must rapidly develop familiarity with Moog’s customers, products, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Travel flexibility required to visit suppliers and customers.
Security Consideration
- BPSS (Basic Personnel Security Standard) clearance is mandatory.
