Site Support Engineer
Site Support Engineer
Covering: Aylesford, Dartford & Erith
Role Purpose
To assist the Area Service Manager by ensuring that defined site performance goals and standards are being met on their sites, including:
- Repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
- Perform repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
- Accurately complete service reports and time sheets.
- Manage and control inventory of parts stock.
- Build customer relationships through strong communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual obligations.
- Maintain close liaison with the after-sales office to provide accurate customer information regarding repair times and estimated times of arrival.
- Optimise external revenue by identifying chargeable follow-up work and ensuring it is communicated to the customer and completed promptly.
- Ensure adherence to all company and customer health and safety procedures.
- Identify sales leads for the Jungheinrich range of equipment and After Sales products.
- Act as a Company Ambassador at all times.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Area Service Manager, including call-out duties and work outside normal working hours (disclaimer: this list is not exhaustive).

Ideal Candidate Qualities
- Must have a clean driving licence.
- Mustafa have a good level of education.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing environment.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised.
- Desirable: Experience supervising staff.
