Site Support Engineer

Site Support Engineer

Covering: Aylesford, Dartford & Erith

Role Purpose

To assist the Area Service Manager by ensuring that defined site performance goals and standards are being met on their sites, including:

  • Repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
  • Perform repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
  • Accurately complete service reports and time sheets.
  • Manage and control inventory of parts stock.
  • Build customer relationships through strong communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain close liaison with the after-sales office to provide accurate customer information regarding repair times and estimated times of arrival.
  • Optimise external revenue by identifying chargeable follow-up work and ensuring it is communicated to the customer and completed promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to all company and customer health and safety procedures.
  • Identify sales leads for the Jungheinrich range of equipment and After Sales products.
  • Act as a Company Ambassador at all times.
  • Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Area Service Manager, including call-out duties and work outside normal working hours (disclaimer: this list is not exhaustive).

Ideal Candidate Qualities
