Site Quantity Surveyor - HMP Highpoint Project
We are looking for a Site Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the HMP Highpoint project, supporting the delivery of a £30m work package within a major scheme.
Working as part of an established commercial team, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of the project on site, helping to ensure strong cost control, value delivery, and successful project outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a significant new build project within a secure environment, gaining exposure to complex delivery and collaborative team working.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the commercial management of the work package from procurement through to final account
- Managing subcontractor packages, including procurement, valuations, and payments
- Preparing cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Managing variations, change control, and commercial risk
- Working closely with site, design, and supply chain teams to support delivery
- Ensuring commercial processes and controls are consistently applied
- Supporting the wider commercial team with reporting and project performance

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Site Quantity Surveyor within construction
- Experience working on medium to large new build projects
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and subcontract management
- Good organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team on a live site environment
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
