A Skilled Role with Real Opportunity in a Leading Food Business
The Role
We're looking for skilled, hands-on butchers to operate across key areas including main butchery, slaughter, primal cutting, and middle debone. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative production setting where precision, consistency, and quality are paramount.

Improved rates as follows,
Butchery Roles (varied by skill level and department)
- Current rates 2026: £13.61 - £15.62 per hour
- From April 2026: £14.02 - £16.09 per hour
Slaughter Roles (varied by skill level)
- Current rates: £14.81 - £17.57 per hour
- From April 2026: £15.25 - £18.09 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Skilled Butcher, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Carrying out expert butchery tasks to high hygiene, quality, and safety standards
- Working in production teams to meet daily output goal
- Supporting consistency through your precision and attention to detail
- Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment

You Should Have
- Previous experience in butchery or slaughter (in a factory or processing setting preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- A reliable, team-focused mindset
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet production needs
Training is available for the right candidates with core experience.
