- Predictive maintenance
- Preventative maintenance
- Asset improvement projects
- Root cause analysis and fault resolution
Responsibilities

Commitment to Safety & Standards Demonstrate commitment to people and food safety—aligning with company and legislative procedures in all working practices.

Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) Engage in developing and supporting a reliability-centred maintenance approach.

Asset Care Delivery Implement and complete planned, unplanned, predictive, and preventative engineering activities efficiently.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing Work cross-functionally to manage tasks, resources, and developmental learning with site teams.

Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis Apply technical problem-solving and RCA to prevent faults, inefficiencies, and abnormalities.

Continuous Improvement Proactively contribute to process optimisation, cross-functional projects, and workplace enhancement.

Data & Business Systems Utilisation Utilise and interact with business systems to analyse and report on asset performance and data.

Ownership of Performance Metrics Understand and track site, departmental, and individual performance measures—aligning personal contributions to collective goals.
Requirements
Essential
- Apprenticeship or equivalent training in a single engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, process, or maintenance engineering).
- Demonstrable engineering knowledge applied through technical skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Proactive approach to asset care—pro-active maintenance mindset.
- Logical fault-finding capability.
- Role-model mentoring—willingness to support and share knowledge within the team.
Desirable
- Developed knowledge and application of RCM techniques.
- Advanced fault-finding (instrumentation, troubleshooting, diagnostic strategies).
- Familiarity with Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM).
- Industry best practices in asset care, maintenance frameworks, or efficiency programs.
