Role Overview
Experienced Groundworkers - London
Coinford are looking for experienced Groundworkers, External Finishers, and Groundwork Gangs to join our team on a major residential project in North West London.
We have long-term work available, 10 hours paid per day, competitive rates, and a steady pipeline of work for the right people.

Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and using trench boxes, drag boxes, manhole boxes, and pipe lasers
- Laying concrete, clay, and plastic pipes (all sizes) to correct bed, surround, and levels
- Ensuring pipes are tested and laid correctly throughout
- Managing groundwater and setting up the correct pump for the task
- Ensuring correct backfilling of trenches
- Benching of all manholes
- Kerbing and edging installation
- Paving works including slabs and block paving
- Drainage installation, testing, and maintenance
- Service installations including utilities and ducting
- External works including kerbs, edgings, slabs, and block paving
- Working safely around live services using correct service avoidance techniques
- Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections

REQUIREMENTS
- CSCS Groundworker Card or similar qualification
- Confined Space Ticket
- Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
- CAT & Genny Training
- Experience in kerbing, paving, drainage, and service installations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper
- CPCS / NPORS Ride-On Roller
- Abrasive Wheels Training
- Face Fit Certification
- Harness Awareness Certification
- 5-10+ years of skilled groundworks experience
- Experienced working gangs / teams highly sought after
