ROLE OVERVIEW Experienced Scaffold Mat / Driveway Gangs - New Romney

Coinford are looking for experienced Scaffold Mat and Driveway Gangs to join our team on a major residential development in New Romney.

We have full-time opportunities available, offering 10 hours paid per day, competitive rates, and a steady pipeline of work for the right teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of scaffold mats to the required specification and levels
  • Preparation, grading and levelling of sub-bases for driveway construction
  • Installation of drainage and associated external works where required
  • Laying kerbs, edgings, block paving and other driveway finishes
  • Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Operating safely around live services using approved service avoidance techniques
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, site safety and housekeeping
  • Carrying out daily pre-start plant and equipment inspections
  • Working closely with site management and other trades to meet programme deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a gang
  • Proven experience in driveway, paving and external works
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites
  • Right to work in the UK
  • CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper
  • CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Ride-On Roller

DESIRABLE

  • CAT & Genny Training
  • Abrasive Wheels Training
  • Face Fit Certification
  • Harness Awareness Certification
  • 5+ years' experience in external works, driveway installation or groundworks
  • Established gangs with their own workforce highly sought after
